Oi! Nem vou comentar que faz praticamente um mês já da minha última postagem, ok?

Já aviso, o post será graaaande, pois acontecerem várias coisas e hoje acordei com vontade de escrever! Hahahahaha.

Passaporte
Bom, eu disse que a minha foto tinha saído feia, para aqueles que não acreditaram está aí a foto do passaporte, o que prova que não menti.

Eu havia combinada com dois amigos meus de irmos ao posto da PF, pegar/fazer os passaportes, até tinha mudado a data de entrega dos meus documentos. Mas acabei descobrindo que a data não foi alterada no sistema e acabei indo entregar os documentos com a minha mãe e indo pegar o passaporte com a minha irmã. Foi tudo tranqüilo. Essa etapa já matei!


Horas e Voluntariado
Eu estou simplesmente A-M-A-N-D-O cada dia que passa, mais e mais as crianças da escolinha que eu faço voluntariado, estou amando mesmo de verdade. Parei para pensar em seguir carreira com educação infantil... mas sem mais detalhes about it.
Estou analisando a idéia de aumentar meus dias no EMEI. Eu vou de terça e quinta, das 07h às 11h, estou pensando em mudar para segunda a sexta, no mesmo horário, assim teria mais horas e adquiriria mais experiência na área... mas ainda não sei... estou pensando.
Ai, essa semana foi tããão engraçado! Tem uma menina super fofa na sala. Aí ela levantou do NADA e foi até lá atrás (na mesa onde fico sentada) e me deu um beijo! Aí eu falei "Aaaaah, você é uma gostosa" e ela disse "Obrigada u.u" rialto#. Vou ver se quando eu for tirar as fotos com eles, eu posto uma aqui! ;)


Agência
Lembram que eu tinha dito, que a minha agente tinha saído e a gerente que estava me atendendo agora? Pois bem, agora entrou outra menina, estou com outra agente de novo e nem sei quem é... mas tudo bem né, fazer o que. Quando terminar meu APP irei até lá, para ver meu processo de perto, aí aproveito e vejo realmente quem está cuidando do que... puff.

APP e Formulários de Referências
Bom, sobre o meu APP eu terminei de preencher e mandei para a agência corrigir, para minha surpresa não tive que corrigir nada praticamente. Só o "best time to call" porque eu tinha colocado "anytime" e deveria ter um horário mesmo. Ou seja, agora só falta:

- As fotos
- O tão temido vídeo
- O formulário médico
- E o formulário das horas

Eu sei que essas são as coisas mais difíceis, mais agora falta super pouco, porque com certeza até o final de Maio eu consigo tudo! Ou seja, NO MÁXIMO no final de Junho eu já fico online e começo a procurar e a entrar em contato com as famílias! >.<

Sexta-feira fui ao médico, tentar preencher o formulário médico, já que tinha consulta marcada com a minha médica, aproveitei pra tentar passar com o clínico geral e já preencher tudo, mas quem disse que eu consegui? Tive que marcar uma consulta para o dia 30/04 ¬¬. Acho que estou com todas as vacinas em ordem... mas mesmo assim é bem capaz que ele peça algum exame, raio-x do pulmão ou algo assim, só para ver se está tudo bem mesmo, antes de ir colocando o CRM dele no meu formulário. Torçam comigo para que ele não peça nenhum exame muuuito complexo e que tenha que ser agendado "por telefone", porque se eu tiver que conseguir uma data, para marcar o exame e outra para a consulta com ele depois do exame... OMG! Não conseguirei entregar meu APP pronto até o final de Maio NEM A PAU!

O formulário de referência de experiência com crianças, meus amores, está no papo! E eu ainda terei um formulário assinado pela escola, então, está tudo sussa! ;D

Host Family Letter
Sim, também temos que escrever uma carta para a família e colocarmos no APP! Eu já fiz a minha, mandei para a agência e eles disseram que está tudo ok. MAS, como a parte do APP que anexa a carta só foi liberada agora, após eu ter preenchido a primeira parte, só agora eu descobri que minha carta tem que ser around 600 words (segundo o que está escrito no APP)... e a minha deu o DOBRO disso. Olha:

Hi dear family, how are you? My name is Helaine. I am 20 years old and my birthday is on July 11st. I live in Brazil, in a city called São Paulo, which is the biggest one in South America. My city is kind of similar to NYC, it is very crowded, with a lot of traffic and buildings. That’s my hometown and I love it a lot. There’re a lot of fun things to do, specially with the kids. My country is very nice as well, it has a lot of beautiful places to visit. I live with my parents, they have their own bussines. Both of them support me a lot about going to US, because they know that it’s one of my dreams and I really want to. I have one sister, she is in the last year in high school and I also have a dog, his name is Lucky (I love pets!)
I can describe myself as a very friendly person. I’m also very responsible, loyal, energetic, loving, honest, open-minded and flexible, and I owe all of that to my parents lessons. I’m graduating this year (2010) in college, in Linguistics, Translator and Interpreter, it is 3 in 1 (LOL), this major is very important to me, I got to learn a lot of english, which I love! And when I return to Brazil, I want to get back be an English teacher and teach in schools, not only in English courses as I did before.
I already said what I like to do the most in the application, so I’ll describe other things about me. I love to spend time with my family, my boyfriend and my friends, they're are very important to me. My parents, sister, boyfriend, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas and I all love to go on trips, do barbecues, go to the beach or just get some pizza and talk, I love being with them. My friends are very important to me as well, I always go out with them for pizza (I love pizza!), go to the mall and a lot of other things, or just hang out. Sometimes my boyfriend can’t be with us, because of his work, but that’s ok because I’m a very understading person and he is too. So we don’t have problems with be away from each other when there’s no way to be together. I love to make new friends, that’s very easy for me, and I like to keep my old friends too. I already have au pair friends from college, other states and internet. I also like to talk, I’m talking almost all the time, my friends say they know it’s me just from hearing my voice, even if I’m far away from them. Sometimes I think I’m a big child, I like simple things, such as doing picnics, watching cartoons, eating candies, playing in the pool, doing arts and crafts, and that kind of things. There a lot of other things I like too, such as chocolate, beaches, colorful things, Starbucks, soccer, driving, flowers, pools, music, movies, series (I LOVE F.R.I.E.N.D.S! I got all the DVD’s) taking photos, traveling and a lot more.
But if there’s something I really like, it’s kids. I think they’re fascinating, in all of their ages. Every child is unique and special in their own way, and I’m having the chance to see that at the volunteer work I’m doing at a day care center. I look after from 3 to 6 year old children, and they are amazing, they laugh at me when I arrive, they jump all over me to give me hugs and they even fight to get closer to me. I really miss them when I’m not there and I know they miss me too. I also helped taking care of other children sometimes, since they were 1-year-old until now. There are boy (he is 3 years now), his sister who is 4 years old and I take care of her since she was 1 year-old too. I also have a cousin who is a beautiful 9 years-old girl and sometimes she stay at home with me for a few days. I always have a great time with them. A couple of years ago I was a counselour on a camp, and that was the most amazing experience I ever had. We did a lot of different activities, like going to the pool and all, it was really awesome. I also learnt how to be responsible for the kids, since I was with them all day long, helping at lunchtime, bath and bedtime, I really miss that days. I always have a great time with kids, It’s great to teach something for them and learn a lot of things back.
I want to be an au pair for different reasons. I’ve never been in US and I always wanted to visit many places in there, like New York, Chicago, Washington, California and a lot of other ones. I also wanted to spend more time there, so I can get to know better the English language, the culture, habits and everything related to The USA, and the best way to do that is to live with an American family. I said that family is very important to me, so I hope I can be a part of the family for you, and I want to consider you as my second family. And as I’m crazy about kids, this program is just what I need. And I can also have the chance to improve my English, which will be very important in the future. My parents and my boyfriend really support me about all of this, because they know I really want it and that is a dream I have.
Now that you know me a little bit more, I really want to get to know more about your family, your kids, city and habits too. I’m sure we’d become wonderful friends and I’d get along just great with your kids. This will definitely be an unforgettable experience for me, and I’d like to make a little difference in your lives too. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me, I can’t wait to hear from you.
